Welcome To The Film Makers Club

Want to have fun making films?

Love telling stories?

Think you’d make a great TV reporter?

Or want to be behind the camera?

Then The Film Makers Club is for you!

The Film Makers Club is a fun new club for 8-16 year olds who live in Davyhulme, Urmston, Flixton and Partington.

You will be able to try out filmmaking through a series of fun workshops on skills like finding ideas, interviewing, presenting and directing and will make short films about your local community and the things that matter to you.

You’ll be using smart phones (don’t worry if you haven’t got one, we’ll have some for you to use) and the latest gadgets to try out your ideas and then you will be involved in shooting and editing the best ideas into professional short films.
You don’t need any previous experience of filmmaking to take part; you just need to want to have fun trying!
